Well, this is it. Another long NASCAR season is over, and Jimmie Johnson has won his second straight NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship. He also becomes NASCAR’s final Nextel Cup champion as the Cup sponsorship name changes from Nextel to Sprint next year.
Earlier I posted this blog about how my friend, Brad, and I entered into a friendly competition concerning our NASCAR predictions for the 2007 season.
Well now the 2007 season is over and my friend Brad won, barely, by one prediction. The prediction that broke the tie breaker was Jimmie Johnson winning the championship.
Yesterday, Carl Edwards, the number 60 driver for Roush-Fenway Racing, mathmatically clenched the 2007 Busch Series championship.
