The 8 not freed
Today, on NASCAR.com, this story was posted about Hendrick Motorsports failing to secure the use of the number 8 for Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Okay, so I rented the movie “Blades of Glory”. A friend of mine, and myself, both agreed not to see this movie at the Theatre as it didn’t look like it’d be spectacular.
I think we over estimated the movie.

Two months ago, I posted this blog about NASCAR’s lawsuits involving, well, NASCAR, Cingular/AT&T and Sprint. NASCAR lost a lawsuit AT&T filed against it. AT&T was able to change the name and logo, on Jeff Burton’s No. 31 Cingular car, to AT&T’s mobile brand.
NASCAR filed an appeal to a higher court and has won.
I’ve been meaning to blog about this since last week, but haven’t gotten around to it until now.

That was a war protest song written three decades ago to protest the Vietnam War. While I have found war protest songs catchy, I have never agreed with most of their lyrics. This songs, has some lyrics that make me think of Iraq as of this past week.
