Roush Accuses Toyota of Cheating

This morning I came across some streaming audio within NASCAR.com’s Garage Pass. The audio was news reporting that Jack Roush is now accusing Toyota of cheating. How Roush made this determination reminds me of Junior Johnson’s allegations against Hendrick Motorsports, of which I talked about in this prior blog.

Why Junior Johnson Left Chevrolet

This morning, I was not only getting my usual NASCAR fix on T.V., but undergoing my “Day of the Daytona 500″ ritual of watching nothing but NASCAR shows. One of the shows I have watched, so far today, was “NASCAR Live” on the Speed channel. The show featured a segment where NASCAR legend, Darrell Waltrip interviewed one of his former car owners and legend, Junior Johnson.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. a No-Show at NY

Last night, on one of ESPN’s many networks, was NASCAR’s Nextel Cup award ceremony. It happens every year, to crown the season’s champion, rookie of the year, owner’s championship, and those involved in events that stood out such as Kevin Harvick edging out Mark Martin to win at the Daytona 500. It is a traditional ceremony that has been a part of NASCAR since 1981.

Jimmie Johnson Wins 2nd Straight Cup

Well, this is it. Another long NASCAR season is over, and Jimmie Johnson has won his second straight NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship. He also becomes NASCAR’s final Nextel Cup champion as the Cup sponsorship name changes from Nextel to Sprint next year.

Brad Wins Prediction Battle

Earlier I posted this blog about how my friend, Brad, and I entered into a friendly competition concerning our NASCAR predictions for the 2007 season.

Well now the 2007 season is over and my friend Brad won, barely, by one prediction.   The prediction that broke the tie breaker was Jimmie Johnson winning the championship.

Yesterday, Carl Edwards, the number 60 driver for Roush-Fenway Racing, mathmatically clenched the 2007 Busch Series championship.

Taking Nationwide & NASCAR to task 2

This is update to my last post.  In my last post I let you all know I sent an e-mail to Nationwide Insurance’s public relations department.

 Well they surprised me by actually responding to me, their response was not surpising, however.  Here is the text of their response:
